This aluminium percolator with a stainless steel bottoms is sufficient for making 6 small cups of espresso. How does it work? Screw the bottoms loose, lift the filter and fill the bottoms with water up to just below the pressure valve. Fill the filter with ground espresso coffee up to about 3 mm below the rim and place the filter back in the bottoms part. Check that the rubber ring is present in the top part and screw both parts back onto each other. Place the coffee pot on a heat source with a low setting and make sure that the percolator is stable. Lift the lid carefully after 7 to 10 minutes to check if the coffee is ready. Be careful when lifting the lid, as hot damp may escape. Clean all parts after use.
